WHO IT'S FOR
Built for healthcare couriers and 3PLs that run mixed fleets.
Monday volume doubles and three drivers call out. Contractors get recruited through a WhatsApp group. Nobody notices an insurance policy expired until the driver is already on the road with a controlled-substance delivery. Dispatchers phone drivers to ask where they are, and a blurry photo with no signature turns into a disputed invoice a month later.
DMS was built inside Flexio, a working healthcare logistics operation, to run its own driver network, then packaged for any healthcare courier, 3PL or in-house delivery team. It picks up where LOMS hands off and runs on the Routina AI Enablement Engine, so agents work the roster alongside your dispatchers.
CAPABILITIES
Six things the app handles for you.
Fleet and driver management
Staff drivers, contractors and vehicles in one roster: availability, home zone, vehicle type and capacity, and qualifications such as cold chain, controlled substances or specimen handling.
On-demand contractor recruitment
When routed volume outgrows the roster, open routes go to a pool of qualified contractors who accept from their phone. Agents screen new applicants, collect documents and book onboarding, so capacity follows volume instead of headcount.
Credentials and compliance
Licenses, insurance, vehicle documents, background checks and HIPAA or chain-of-custody training tracked with expiration alerts. A driver whose documents lapse stops receiving routes until they're renewed.
Active monitoring
Every route watched while it runs: location, stop progress, idle time and route deviations. Late stops and exceptions reach dispatch before the client calls, and status flows back to LOMS.
Proof of delivery and validations
Photo, signature, timestamp and GPS for every stop, plus ID checks where the delivery requires one. Agents validate each POD against the stop's geofence and requirements, and an incomplete one goes back to the driver while they're still at the door.
Driver pay
Pay calculated from completed, validated stops, with mileage and adjustments included. Payouts batched for approval, with a statement every driver can see.
DMS + LOMS
LOMS runs the orders. DMS runs the drivers.
The two apps meet at dispatch. LOMS hands over routed orders; DMS hands back live status and validated proof of delivery, so client invoicing and support always read from what actually happened on the road.
Last-Mile Order Management (LOMS)
What moves, for whom, at what price
- Client setup, contracts and pricing rules
- Order intake from API, email and manual entry
- Routing and shared zones
- Client invoicing and support
Driver Management (DMS)
Who moves it, and proof that they did
- Driver roster, vehicles and contractor recruitment
- Credentials and compliance
- Live route monitoring and exceptions
- Validated proof of delivery and driver pay
Already run a TMS? DMS can work alongside it, adding contractor capacity, credential checks and POD validation without replacing your dispatch tools.
